BALL OF FOOT PAIN
In order to protect your feet, make sure that you wear shoes that are comfortable and supportive. Your shoes should provide cushioning and support for your feet – and be built for the activity that you use them for. Shoes with a rocker sole and a wider set toe area can help by redistributing your weight effectively across your foot.
By maintaining a healthy weight, you will also lessen the stress felt by your feet. Excess weight can put unnecessary pressure on your feet, and increase your risk of pain and inflammation.
Avoiding strenuous activity while your feet heal can also prevent development of further problems.
Lastly, considering insoles that provide cushioning and/or arch support may prevent ball of foot pain from developing.
